Rebecca Jackson

LILBOURN, Mo. -- Rebecca L. "Becky" Jackson, 49, of Lilbourn passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid, Mo.

She was born March 3, 1961, in Cape Girardeau, to Jack Pierce of Jefferson City, Mo., and Linda Goodrum Jones of Jackson. She and Jerry L. Jackson were married Jan. 30, 1981.

Becky lived in Lilbourn 21 years. She was a caseworker with Family Support in New Madrid and a member of the United Methodist Church in Gideon, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Zackariah Joseph Jackson of the home; stepmother, Nita Pierce of Jefferson City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Denise Pierce of Jefferson City, Hank and Lori Pierce of Rogers, Ark.; and a host of relatives and many friends.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Mike Johnson officiating. Private burial will be at a later date.
