SCOTT CITY -- Rebecca Adeline Gregory, 81, of Scott City, died Monday, April 1, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 18, 1915, at Richwood, daughter of James and Stella Ann Turnbull Greenlee. She and Johnnie Gregory were married June 29, 1935. He died Feb. 4, 1966.
Gregory was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Scott City, and former member of Crump Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Gregory of Cape Girardeau, David Gregory of Jasper, Tenn.; a daughter, Ida Mae Givens of Scott City; two sisters, Pearl Ferguson of Granite City, Ill., Thelma Stovall of Crump; a brother, Harold Greenlee of Lompoc, Calif.; nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, six brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to service time.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. J.D. Smith and Randall Morse officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
