Reba June Walker, 74, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Cobden, Ill., passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at her home, after an extended illness.
She was born June 3, 1938, in Eldorado, Ill., in Saline County, to Ray and Romayne Barker.
While enlisted in the United States Air Force, she and Roger Lee Walker of Collinsville, Texas, were married March 15, 1958.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings; husband; and youngest daughter, Tracy Denise.
Survivors include a brother, Rex Barker and family of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; two daughters, Crystal Cerny of Cape Girardeau and Trina Fear of Richardson, Texas; six grandchildren, Mark Cerny of Cobden, Adam Cerny of Loretto, Minn., United States Army Specialist Aaron Cerny of Fort Benning, Ga., and James, Tracy and Suzanne Fear of Richardson; many other family members and friends.
At her request, there will be a private interment of her remains in Texas where her husband and daughter are buried.
Arrangements were made and cremation was accorded by McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
