BELL CITY -- Funeral service for Reba Mae Starkey Mobbs of Bell City will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Woodrow Phillips and Bill Bradley will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Mobbs, 80, died Monday, Jan. 22, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Feb. 15, 1915, in Center Ridge, Ark., daughter of Holly and Dove Howard Hill. She and John Mobbs were married May 12, 1979, in Bell City.
Mobbs retired from the housekeeping department at Ramada Inn.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Barney Starkey Jr. of Gonzales, La.; two daughters, Blendia Breedlove of Lilbourn, Carolyn Carpenter of Morley; two stepsons, Paul Mobbs of Newark, N.Y., Theodore Mobbs of Bascom, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Shirley Harris of Bell City; a brother, George Hill of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
