CHAFFEE -- Reba Lois Nance, 91, of Chaffee died Wednesday, April 30, 1997, at her home.

She was born March 30, 1906, in East Prairie, daughter of John Sherman and Allie Morris Burns. She and Harold Robert Nance were married Dec. 5, 1924. He died July 11, 1981.

Nance was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include a son, James Nance of Pinckneyville, Ill.; a daughter, Delois Donley of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Ercie Benfield of Chaffee; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, daughter, three brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. James Bolden officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
