McCLURE, Ill. Reba Mosby of McClure died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1992, at the home of her daughter in East Cape Girardeau. She was 87. She was born July 19, 1905, in Tamms, Ill., the daughter of William and Fleeda Morris Smith. On May 28, 1920, she married Eugene Hartline in Mound City, Ill. He died Aug. 18, 1952...

McCLURE, Ill. Reba Mosby of McClure died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1992, at the home of her daughter in East Cape Girardeau. She was 87.

She was born July 19, 1905, in Tamms, Ill., the daughter of William and Fleeda Morris Smith.

On May 28, 1920, she married Eugene Hartline in Mound City, Ill. He died Aug. 18, 1952.

On Feb. 11, 1956, she married Irvin Mosby in McClure. He died Oct. 9, 1982.

She was a member of the McClure Baptist Bible Church. She and Mosby owned and operated grocery stores in Elco and McClure.

Survivors include one son, Winston Hartline of McClure; one daughter, Arlene Garrott of East Cape Girardeau; two step-sons, Richard Mosby of McClure and Claude Mosby of Anna; a step-daughter, Ruby Damon of Lady Lake, Fla.; five grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one daughter and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, with the Rev. F.M. Speakman officiating.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola, Ill.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Sprigg Street Chapel.
