MILL CREEK, Ill. -- Reba J. Powles, 73, of Mill Creek, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born June 12, 1918, in Elco, daughter of Moses and Lillie Brown Jordan. She married Joseph Powles June 6, 1934.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jodean Johns of Dongola, Joyce Lynch of Gurnee; two sons, Marvin Powles of Dongola, Jerry Powles of Waukegan; two sisters, Cecile Dillow of Dongola, Ilean Wiitenan of Wakefield, Mich.; 14 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Dongola. The Rev. Danny Jones will officiate, with burial in St. Johns Cemetery near Dongola.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
