PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Raymond "Red" Moore of Perryville died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at St. Mary's Health Care Center in St. Louis. He was born Aug. 31, 1918. He married Mildred Turlin on Nov. 19, 1949. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Raymond "Red" Moore of Perryville died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at St. Mary's Health Care Center in St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 31, 1918. He married Mildred Turlin on Nov. 19, 1949. She died June 9, 2000.

Moore was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW of Perryville and American Legion Post 133.

Survivors include two daughters, Vickie Bruckerhoff and Connie Brewer, both of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; and three sisters, Mae Buchheit of Perryville, Zelma Miles of Bridgeton, Mo., and Alma Valleroy of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A Mass will be held at 1 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Keven Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
