PUXICO -- Raymond "Bud" Linson, 71, of Puxico died Monday, Oct. 14, 1996, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born April 20, 1925, at Puxico, son of Henry J. and Nellie Boismenue Linson. He and Stella Hodge were married May 12, 1947, in Pontiac, Mich.
Linson worked 30 years in the truck and coach division of General Motors in Pontiac, Mich. He returned to Puxico 19 years ago. He was a member of Puxico General Baptist Church, United Auto Workers, and life member of VFW Post 7822.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Roy Linson of Columbiaville, Mich., Jim Linson of Auburn Hills, Mich., Don Linson of Lake Orion, Mich., Raymond and Glen Linson of Waterford, Mich.; two daughters, Norma Robertson of Lapeer, Mich., Rita Gilbreath of Waterford; his mother of Puxico.
He is also survived by two brothers, Claude Linson of Waterford, Don Linson of Martin, Tenn.; six sisters, Tula Langford of Weed, Calif., Pauline Walker of Loveland, Colo., Mary Bauman and Clara Stilts of Fenton, Wilma Allbritton of Poplar Bluff, Shirley Linson of Puxico; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and infant twin brothers.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
