BLOOMFIELD -- Raymond L. Bleakley, 97, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, March 3, 1994, at Bloomfield Nursing Center.

He was born Dec. 11, 1896, in Mill Shoals, Ill., son of Virgil and Lucy Hughes Bleakley. He married the former Nola Main, who preceded him in death.

Bleakley had been a realtor in Kansas City, Kan., and Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a deacon in the Presbyterian Church in Corpus Christi. He moved here 11 years ago.

Survivors include a sister, Muriel Brown of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Greg Greason officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
