BELL CITY, Mo. -- Raymond W. Bollinger, 82, of Bell City passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Feb. 20, 1931, in Bell City, son of Eugene and Stella Winemiller Bollinger. He and Joann Williams were married Oct. 25, 1980, in Bell City.
Raymond drove a truck for Robert Driskell Lime Co. and David Jo Eakins Lime Co. He loved bluegrass music and Arrowhead Campground.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David Bollinger of Kelso, Mo.; two stepsons, Billy Hunsperger of Clarkton, Mo., and Steve Hunsperger of Holts Summit, Mo.; five daughters, Donna Swindell of Evansville, Ind., Diane Hunsperger of Bell City, Dana Barrett of Jackson, Bridgette Beninati of Cape Girardeau and Christy Copeland of Chaffee, Mo.; a brother, Donald Bollinger of Leora, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, Dennis Hunsperger.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Mo.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. Ted Stone officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
