FROHNA -- Raymond A. Miesner, 71, of Frohna died Monday, June 21, 1999, at his farm. He was born Sept. 5, 1927, at Farrar, the son of Ernst and Anna Lohmann Miesner. He married Laverne O. Leimbach Oct. 13, 1951. She died Aug. 3, 1979. Surviving are sons, Ricky, Richard, Terry and Mike Miesner, all of Frohna; daughters, Kathleen Cassoutt, Janice Martyn and Linda Richardet, all of Perryville, and Cindy Jones of Uniontown; brothers, Edmond and Theodore Miesner, both of Frohna, sisters, Erna Miesner of Perryville and Adelma Mueller of Frohna; 14 grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.. ...

He was a crop and livestock farmer and a member of Salem Lutheran Church at Farrar.

A brother and a sister also preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

Service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with the Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
