APPLE CREEK -- Service for Ray Ponder will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young & Sons Funeral Home at Perryville after 5 p.m. Monday and until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. A wake will be held at the funeral home today at 7 p.m.

Ponder, 29 years old, of Oak Ridge, died Friday, Jan. 11, 1991, at his home.

He was born Aug. 6, 1961, at Perryville, son of William and Helen Kline Ponder. They both survive.

He was married to Angie Henry on Sept. 27, 1988. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Benjamin Joseph Ponder and a daughter, Hailey Rae Ponder, both of the home; brothers, Paul Ponder of Perryville, Edward Ponder of Perryville; Richard Ponder of Uniontown, and LeRoy Ponder of Perryville; sisters, Shirley Burrows of Altenburg, and Margie Kasten of Uniontown, Charlotte Arnsen of Perryville, Connie Kaempfe of Longtown; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother John Ponder.

He was member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Apple Creek, .

He was a line technician at Procter & Gamble.
