Ray Moreland

ANNA, Ill. — Ray Dean Moreland, 74, of Anna died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born July 3, 1934, in Union County, Ill., to L.M. and Chelsea (Mullins) Moreland. He and Guiola Lambert were married April 17, 1953.

He was a lifelong farmer and worked for more than 30 years at Transcraft.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Michael "Tramp" Moreland of Anna; two daughters, Judi Prusaczyk of Benton, Ill., and Vicki Schroeder of Olathe, Kan.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in Anna Cemetery.
