ANNA, Ill. -- Ray Kaineg, 77, of Anna died Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 7, 1919, in Bradley, the son of John and Victoria Sherman Kaineg. He was married to Anne Burns on Oct. 31, 1940, in Kankakee.
Kaineg was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Victoria Trudeau of St. Charles, Susan Marie Sprout of Eureka, Mary Anne Roberts of Dekalb and Sally Beth Kaineg of Anna; four sons, James Raymond Kaineg Glide, Ore., Thomas Francis Kaineg of Seminole, Fla., John Robert Kaineg of Mahomet and Edward Joseph Kaineg of Torrington, Conn.; and 17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating.
