JACKSON -- Ray Franklin Wilson, 74, of Jackson died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1992, at his home. He was born Aug. 10, 1918 at Jackson, son of Louis and Cora Henderson Wilson. He married Martha Mason on Aug. 14, 1954. She survives. JACKSON -- Ray Franklin Wilson, 74, of Jackson died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1992, at his home.

He was born Aug. 10, 1918 at Jackson, son of Louis and Cora Henderson Wilson.

He married Martha Mason on Aug. 14, 1954. She survives.

He was employed as an electrical engineer in Chicago for 36 years, working first for Guarantee Generator and Armature Co. and then for Sundstrom Press Steel Co.

Upon retiring, he moved back to Jackson three years ago.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army in the European theater.

Also surviving are two sons, Lawrence Swan and Richard Wilson, both of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Mary Jo Brown of the state of California; two sisters, Ruby D. Wilson of Jackson and Jessie A. Jenkins of Cape Girardeau; and 10 grandchildren.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Ben Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
