RAY DODGE

EAST PRAIRIE -- Ray Junior Dodge, 62, of East Prairie died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, at the home of his mother, following an extended illness.

He was born Nov. 16, 1934, in East Prairie, son of Cecil and Dorothy Stewart Dodge. He married the former Georgia Alsup.

Dodge resided in Mississippi County most of his life. He was a boilermaker and truck driver.

Survivors include a son, Carl Dodge of Wickliffe, Ky.; a daughter, Connie Darrington of Peoria, Ariz.; his mother, Dorothy Young of East Prairie; two brothers, Clarence Dodge of Sikeston, Cecil Dodge of East Prairie; three sisters, Margie Wheatley, Imogene Ward and Barbara Dodge, all of East Prairie; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held later.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
