JONESBORO, Ill. -- Ray Corbin, 85, of Jonesboro died Saturday, Aug. 26, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 4, 1910, at Opp, Ala., the son of Ridgeway and Carlie Woodman Corbin. He and Hazel Chaudoin were married April 11, 1981, at Jonesboro.
He was self-employed and operated Corbin Fixtures and Supplies. He was a charter member of the Jonesboro Lions Club and a past governor of the Anna Moose Lodge 1346. He also was a member of the Jonesboro United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, June Ballash of Chesterfield, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Barbara Brinson of Pass Christian, Miss., and Joyce Johnson of Anna; and a stepson, Paul Hays of Wyanet.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Hileman and Parr Funeral Services chapel in Jonesboro, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Garnett Mitchell will officiate, and burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
