Raquel Metzger-Qualls, 35, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 24, 1968, in Cape Girardeau to Monica Gilbert Metzger. She married Michael Qualls on Oct. 9, 1993, in Cape Girardeau.
She was working on a degree in social behavior of autistic children and worked with and for the treatment of autism. Kelley was a humanitarian who worked to preserve the rights of challenged children across Missouri.
Survivors include her husband; her mother; a son, Kannon Qualls of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Jordan Qualls of Cape Girardeau; and a brother, Ty Metzger of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home with John Ramey and Ty Metzger officiating. Burial will follow in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jordan Qualls and Kannon Qualls Benefit Fund at The Bank of Missouri.
