Randy Volkerding, 54, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Heartland Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 25, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, to Nelson and Dorothy Reisenbichler Volkerding. Randy graduated from Parkview School in Cape Girardeau and worked at V.I.P. Randy Volkerding, 54, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Heartland Care and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born July 25, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, to Nelson and Dorothy Reisenbichler Volkerding.

Randy graduated from Parkview School in Cape Girardeau and worked at V.I.P. Industries in Cape Girardeau more than 20 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth E. (Rebecca) Volkerding of Jackson and Donald W. (Marian) Volkerding of Spring, Texas; and four nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nathan Burgell officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be given to Saxony Lutheran High School.
