Randy Joseph Sneathen, 58, of Jackson died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at his home. He was born Oct. 8, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, to Douglas "Doc" and Edna Emelia Ueleke Sneathen. Randy graduated from Jackson High School in 1971. He was a lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church of Gordonville and a member of the American Historical Truck Society...

Randy Joseph Sneathen, 58, of Jackson died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at his home.

He was born Oct. 8, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, to Douglas "Doc" and Edna Emelia Ueleke Sneathen.

Randy graduated from Jackson High School in 1971. He was a lifelong member of Zion United Methodist Church of Gordonville and a member of the American Historical Truck Society.

He was an over-the-road professional truck driver 27 years. He owned and operated R & S Refrigeration Co. from 1978 to 1993, and from 1994 to his retirement in 2006, he drove for Gilster-Mary Lee of Perryville, Mo.

He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Keill of Charleston, S.C., Ashley Sneathen of Jackson; two brothers, William (Judy) Sneathen of Cape Girardeau, Jeffery (Sandra) Sneathen of Gordonville; two sisters, Carol Ann Berman and Cathy Susan Sneathen of Jackson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Joel Kiddwell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church.
