RANDY SIMS

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Randy Sims, East Prairie Star Route, will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Christian Church. The Rev. Dave Bowden will officiate, with burial in Anniston Cemetery near Anniston.

Friends may call at the church after 10 a.m.

Shelby Funeral Home here is in charge of arrangements.

Sims, 48, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 24, 1943, at Sikeston, son of Bernie and Lena Johnson Sims of Anniston. He and the former Addie Rogers were married April 26, 1968.

Sims was employed by Missouri State Highway Department. He was a member and deacon at First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David Sims of the home; a brother, Larry Sims of Mesa, Ariz.; four sisters, Jackie Baker of Marion, Ill., Ginger Riehn of Oak Ridge, Beverly Tidwell of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and Cherie Abner of Willis, Texas.
