Randy Peters

Randy Wayne Peters, 56, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 11, 2008, at his home.

He was born March 10, 1952, at Cape Girardeau, son of Paul A. and Lawanda Allen Peters.

Peters attended Central High School. He worked on a shrimp boat in Florida many years and later worked in construction in Houston, retiring in 2003.

Survivors include a daughter, Tamaria Bullard of Jackson; his mother, Lawanda Bartels of Cape Girardeau; his stepfather, Bobby Bartels of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Ronnie Peters of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
