Randy Masters

GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Randy Eugene Masters, 49, passed away at his home near Glenallen, Thursday, April 27, 2006.

He was born Sept. 20, 1956, in Lutesville, Mo., son of Eugene and Betty Crader Masters. He and Debbie Sue Trentham were married Sept. 4, 1976, at Lutesville Assembly of God Church.

An honor graduate of Woodland High School in 1975, he attended Southeast Missouri State University. He graduated from Berean School of Bible in Springfield, Mo. Masters was a dedicated minister in the Assembly of God Church, pastoring in Crump, Poplar Bluff, Mountain View, Scott City, Marble Hill, Bernie, Buckhorn and at the Marble Hill Family Fellowship Church in Marble Hill. He was active in various Ministerial Alliances, coached Little League Baseball and youth basketball teams, served as a past member of the Woodland school board, was chosen as Outstanding Young Man of America, worked with the Assemblies of God as the Cape Section Youth Representative and led the fund-raising efforts for personal body armor for the Scott City Police Department.

Survivors include his loving wife; a son, Chris Masters of Parma, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Barry Aycock of Parma; his mother and stepfather, Betty and H.R. Shaw of Marble Hill; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Gary Daniel of Jackson; a brother and sister in law, Bob and Annie Masters of Altenburg; a grandson, Joel Aycock.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Masters and a brother, Eugene Lindell Masters.

Friends may call from noon to 3 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Kent Kassinger officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery, near Marble Hill.
