Paul Randall "Buck" Laird, 51, of Bothell, Wash., formerly of Jackson, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, Wash. Paul Randall "Buck" Laird, 51, of Bothell, Wash., formerly of Jackson, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland, Wash.

He was born Feb. 27, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, son of Richard "Dick" and Mary Deneke Laird.

Laird graduated from Jackson High School in 1975, and worked for Leimer and Wessell Construction Co. in Jackson, was an electrician for Fru-Con Construction Co. at Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau, and was most recently employed by Unity Electric in Redding Calif.

Survivors include two sons, Nicholas and Zachary Laird of Jackson; his father of Jackson; two brothers, Rick Laird of Jackson, Steve Laird; a sister, MarNell Staley of Chaffee, Mo.; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

There will be no service.
