Tapley, 33, died Thursday, July 4, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born May 26, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Clifford and Cornelia Wilson Tapley.

He was a 1976 graduate of Egyptian High School, and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 1981.
