EAST PRAIRIE -- Randy D. Metheny, 35, of Lombard, Ill., and formerly of East Prairie, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 1995, at Baldwin, Mich., as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born Jan. 15, 1960, son of Aneta Maxey Talley of East Prairie and J.D. Metheny of Benton, Ky. He had lived in the Chicago area for the past 15 years, where he was employed by N.S.K. Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include his parents; his fiancee, Colleen Felker of Lombard; stepfather, Lee Talley of East Prairie; a brother, Danny Metheny of Oakdale, Minn.; maternal grandparents, Warren and Virginia Galemore of East Prairie; two half-brothers: Donnie Metheny of East Prairie and David Metheny of Chicago; and a half-sister, Laura Coffer of East Prairie.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a half-brother.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. George White will officiate, and burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery near Charleston.
