PUXICO - Randall L. Faries, 46, of St. Louis, formerly of Puxico, died Friday, Feb. 25, at the Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 9, 1948, in Perryton, Tex., to Alvin and Levada Crunk Faries.
On June 20, 1969, he married Brenda Roberts at Puxico. She survives, along with one son, Clay Faries; one daughter, Amanda Faries, both of the home in Iuka, Ill.; two brothers, Bill Faries and Ronald Faries, both of Puxico; one sister, Patricia Dunivan, of Puxico; and his parents, who live in Puxico.
Faries lived in Puxico for 23 years, and at Bernie, for 17 years, where he taught Industrial Arts at the Bernie High School for 17 years. He later lived at Salem, Ill. for five years, and had lived in Iuka, Ill. the past seven months.
Faries was a certified respiratory technician at the Lutheran Medical Center in St. Louis, and was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Salem, Ill.
Friends may call after 6 p.m., today, at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico, with the Rev. Robert P. Ward officiating.
Burial will be in the Puxico Cemetery.
