TAMMS, ILL. Rana Raby, 97, of Elco, died Monday, July 8, 1991 at her home.
She was born Sept. 18, 1893 in Sparta, Ill., daughter of David and Lula King Walters. She married Charles Clarence Raby, who proceeded her in death Dec. 22, 1952.
She was a member of the Elco Baptist Church.
Survivors are three daughters, Wanda Lucille Hartline, Cape Girardeau, Esther Violet Kemper, Eustis, Fla., and Lula Grace Pickett of Tamms; three sons, Don Charles Raby, Elco, Walter William Raby, Tamms, and Albert Lee Raby of Benton, Ill.; one sister, Grace Fraley, Granite City; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and one grandson.
Friends may call today from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. Service will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the St. John's Cemetery.
