Ralph Wyatt

Ralph E. "Sonny" Wyatt, 77, of Jackson passed away Friday, June 24, 2016, at his sister's home in Jackson.

He was born June 16, 1939, in Kewanee, Missouri, son of Ralph E. and Martha Lee Lands Wyatt.

Ralph was a 1958 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School in Benton, Missouri, and honorably served in the U.S. Army.

Loving survivors include two sons, Tracy (Teresa) Wyatt and Mark (Jessica) Wyatt of Jackson; a sister, Martha (David) Whitaker of Jackson; four grandchildren, Jake Wyatt, Blake Wyatt, Miranda Wyatt and Jack Wyatt of Jackson; an uncle, Carl (Jean) Wyatt of Atlanta; two aunts, Mary Ellen Underhill of Columbus, Ohio, and Wanda (Joe) Brown of Duncanville, Texas; nephews Eric (Adrienne) Scherer and Dustin (Linda) Wyatt of Garland, Texas, and Jonathan (Erin) Scherer of Red Oak, Texas; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronald L. Wyatt; and a niece, Clarissa Scherer.

In accordance with Sonny's wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
