Ralph Woods
Funeral for Ralph Jeffrey Woods of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. Dr. Clayton Smith will officiate. A committal service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Crittenden County Memorial Park in Marion, Ark.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Woods, 43, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at his home.
He was born Jan. 6, 1955, in San Diego, Calif., son of Harold and Bruce Ellen O'Guinn Woods. He first married Pam Raines in October 1975 in Cape Girardeau. He and Jacqueline Minner were married Sept. 14, 1985.
Woods grew up in Tyler, Texas, and Cape Girardeau. He was a graduate of Central High School, attended diesel school in Chicago, and also attended school for the Midas Co.
He was a master mechanic and had worked at Midas Muffler, Thiele Construction Co. and at Finish Line until becoming ill. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Woods of Phoenix, Ariz.; his mother of Cape Girardeau; and a brother, Bruce Woods of Apex, N.C.
