MORLEY, Mo. -- Ralph "Pete" Williams, 87, of Morley passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 9, 1925, in Morley, to Harry Albert and Alice Dickerson Williams. Pete and Jeannie E. Keefer were married May 13, 1961.
Pete was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in World War II and the Korean War.
He was a retired construction inspector with MoDOT in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Morley Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannie of the home; three daughters, Cheryl (Brent) Powell of Benton, Mo., Sheila (Derek) Mills of Vanduser, Mo., Tracy (Dickie) Jordan of East Prairie, Mo.; a sister, Nola Curtis of Little Rock, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at Morley Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church. The Rev. Jim Matthews will officiate, assisted by the Revs. Danny Jones and Larry Jackson. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, with full military honors presented by Missouri Honor Guard.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
