RALPH V. PENROSE

CHAFFEE -- Ralph V. Penrose, 68, Chaffee Route 1, died Thursday, May 26, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 9, 1925, at Benton, son of Harry and Maggie Ethel Payton Penrose. He and Marceline Hatley were married May 17, 1946.

Penrose was employed by Associated Natural Gas Co. 35 years, retiring in May 1988 as a journeyman.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Danny and Alan Penrose of Chaffee; two daughters, Linda Lindy of Chaffee, Vicki Windham of Dexter; a brother, William Penrose of Benton; two sisters, Zalma Woods of Sikeston, Zella Coerver of St. Louis; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at the chapel at 1 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. James W. Hatley will officiate, assisted by the Revs. R.L. Robinson and William Marshall. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
