Ralph H. Brennecke, 82, 205 Hazel, died Friday, May 24, 1991, at his home.
He was born April 18, 1909, in Cape Girardeau, son of Herman and Alvina Haman Brennecke. He and the former Ruth Franz were married Aug. 13, 1934, here.
Brennecke worked at Byron Dormeyer Drug Store 25 years. He worked at Blue Hole Gardens Barbecue 38 years, and had owned and operated it from 1952 until selling to Glen Bishop in 1968. He then worked part time for Bishop until 1979.
He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Christine Fulton of Jackson, Billie Haupt of Cape Girardeau Route 1; four grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Art Basler will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
