Ralph Denton

THEBES, Ill. -- Ralph Denton, 85, of Thebes died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at Ratcliff Care Center.

He was born June 21, 1918, at Thebes, son of Arthur and Grace Bracken Denton.

He was a logger and farmer.

Survivors include a sister, Elsie VanMeter of Cairo, Ill.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from noon until the funeral hour today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.

Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Rev. Larry Potts officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
