Ralph Anderson

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ralph O. Anderson, 93, of Perryville died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born Sept. 27, 1907, in Perry County, Mo., son of Bob and Maude Hudson Anderson. He and LaVesta M. Reeves Thoms were married March 14, 1942.

Anderson retired as an electrical foreman with Citizens Electric Corp. in 1972. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Perryville, Order of Eastern Star 338 and Masonic Lodge 226 AF&AM, both in St. Mary's, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ray Anderson of Columbia, Mo., Donald Thoms of Ste. Genevieve County, Mo.; a daughter, Alma Richardet of Perryville; a sister, Alma Franklin of Silver Lake, Mo.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:15 a.m. Friday. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7 tonight, and a Masonic service at 7:30.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
