MARBLE HILL -- R. Clifton Morrison, 75, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996, at his home due to an illness. He was born April 29, 1921, in Marble Hill, the son of Chester O. and Maggie H. Sadler Morrison. He married Lillian M. Leadbetter on April 22, 1939...

MARBLE HILL -- R. Clifton Morrison, 75, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996, at his home due to an illness.

He was born April 29, 1921, in Marble Hill, the son of Chester O. and Maggie H. Sadler Morrison. He married Lillian M. Leadbetter on April 22, 1939.

Morrison was a farmer and a dealer of Belgian horses.

Survivors include his wife; one brother, Leston Morrison of Cape Girardeau; and one sister, Lois Huffman of Marble Hill.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Curtis Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Hahn Chapel Cemetery near Marble Hill.
