Quinton C. Keller, 69, of St. Louis, died Tuesday, May 12, 1992, at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Nov. 29, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, son of Fred and Rose Grossheider Keller. He and Joann Smoot were married Oct. 24, 1948, at Gordonville.
Keller was a graduate of College High School, where he played basketball and baseball. He also graduated from Southeast Missouri State University, where he played basketball and was in the V-12 program, and attended Columbia University.
He was a teller at First National Bank here before moving to St. Louis in 1952. He had worked 40 years at Lemay Bank, where he had been president, and was currently chairman of the board. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Linda Smyth of St. Louis; five brothers, Irvin and Roy Keller of Columbia, Dewey Keller of Gordonville, Layton Keller of Cape Girardeau, Art Keller of Pekin, Ill., and a grandchild.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the gazebo at Memorial Park, with the Rev. Karl Leeman officiating.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
