MARBLE HILL -- P.L. "Leo" Shrum, 86, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, May 12, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Nov. 13, 1906, in Bollinger County, son of Leo Benton and Mary Catherine Wills Shrum. He and Marie A. Conrad were married May 21, 1936.
Shrum organized Home Oil Co. here in 1947. He sold the business and retired in 1973. He was a member of Marble Hill United Methodist Church and its Men's Bible Class, and Crowel Lodge 440.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth Shrum of Marble Hill; two daughters, Kathleen Husk of Potosi, Sandra Scott of Marble Hill; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four sisters.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Baker Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Rick Broadway will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. today.
