PATTON -- Pinkney P. Presnell, 79, of St. Louis died Friday, Nov. 19, 1993 at Delmar Gardens in Chesterfield.
He was born March 19, 1914 in Patton, the son of Robert E. and Callie Yount Presnell.
He married the former Bessie L. Yount on April 2, 1941 in Marquand. She preceded him in death Dec. 1, 1992.
Presnell retired from Laclede Gas Company in St. Louis in 1976 and was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by three sons, Larry W. Presnell, House Springs, G. Micheal Presnell, Eureka, T. Mark Presnell, Jackson; four daughters, Saundra B. Bovyn, Decatur, Ill., Pamela A. Kreutz, Harvester, B. Jeanette McGreth, Eldon, Karin R. Martinez, Cedar Hill; one brother, Paul Presnell, Patton; three sisters, Martha Grindstaff and Mamie Moyers, both of Patton, and Geraldine Green, St. Louis.
Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton today from 4-8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Liley Funeral Chapel in Patton and burial will follow in the Patton Cemetery.
