Phyllis Ann Miller, daughter of the late Edwin Held and Anna Hale Pyle was born on July 8, 1945, in Commerce, Missouri, and departed her life on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 76.

In March of 1966, she was united in marriage to Bill Miller in Chaffee and he survives in Chaffee.

She was a homemaker and a resident of Chaffee, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Tony (April) Miller of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; two daughters, Billie Carlton of Plain Field, Indiana and Genni Ourth of Chaffee; four sisters, Donna Froggatt and Sue Dinwiddie, both of Scott City, Linda Matlock of Cape Girardeau and Deborah Gullett of Jackson; nine grandchildren, Courtney (Caleb) Koehler, Tori (Corey Drum) Burton, Hunter Ourth, Austin (Masey) Carlton, Clayton Carlton, Charlie Carlton, Kate Sizemore, Cassidy Miller, and Courtney Miller; also by six great-grandchildren, Annistyn Koehler, Holland Koehler, Wyatt Koehler, Camden Koehler, Crew Carlton, and Piper Carlton.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Brian Ourth, four brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Memorial service will then be conducted at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
