Phyllis Ann McDonald, 67, of Delta passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Dec. 18, 1951, in St. Louis to the late Chalmer Perry and LaVaughn Perry Medley. She married Hubert J. McDonald on Dec. 12, 1970, and he survives of the home.

Phyllis was retired from Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of General Baptist Church in Chaffee.

She is also survived by a daughter, Kelley (Stephen) Buck of Delta; two brothers, Mark (Linda) Perry of Delta and Scott Perry (Tracy Warner) of Jackson; a sister-in-law, Angie Perry of Delta; a grandson, Christopher Whitworth (Tami Cone) McDonald of Delta; and she was looking forward to the birth of her great-grandchild. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly, as well as friends and especially lifelong friend, Alice (Mike) Swain, and special friend, Sandy Buchheit.

She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Medley, and a brother, Michael Perry.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at Chaffee General Baptist Church, 319 N. Fifth St. in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
