Phyllis Lukefahr

Phyllis G. Lukefahr, 83, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at her son's home in Marble Hill, Missouri.

She was born June 24, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Truman and Bessie Thomas Young. She and Thomas C. Lukefahr were united in marriage Feb. 18, 1956, and he passed away Feb. 9, 1994.

Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of the Lakeside Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her children, Daniel Lukefahr of Marble Hill, Kathi Bell of Fruitland and Richard T. and David Lukefahr, both of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Thomas Lukefahr; parents; brother, Tom Young; and sister, Joyce Leming.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dan Chaney officiating. Interment will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
