Phyllis Daniels

Phyllis Lorraine Daniels, 91, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Southeast Hospital, with family by her side.

She was born Aug. 29, 1922, in Shannon County, Mo., to the late Everett R. and Bessie E. Staples Counts.

Phyllis is survived by a brother, Billy (Patricia) Robinson of Cuba, Mo., and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard E. Daniels; a son, Gary Carr; two sisters; two nephews; and a niece.

A private service will be at a later date.

Entombment will take place at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum at a later date.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
