Phyllis Burciaga, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born May 2, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Claty V. and Erna H. Hoyer Sullenger.
Burciaga was a graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Burciaga Jr. of state of Florida; a daughter, Toni Chalfant of Sugarland, Texas; her mother of Cape Girardeau; and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. James Caughlan officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
