SIKESTON -- Philomena Christina "Min" Waltemath, 87, of LaBonne Maison Retirement Home in Sikeston, and formerly of Memphis, died Saturday, March 6, 1993 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Dec. 1, 1905 in Danville, Ill., daughter of Joseph Francis and Anna Marie Wagner Foehrer.
She married Norman Fredrick Waltemath on April 1, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio. He preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1963.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at Sikeston, and was formerly a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Memphis.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Hardwick of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Alice Nunnelee of Sikeston; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two grandsons, four brothers and two sisters.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church in Memphis, Tenn., with the Rev. Father Charles Bauer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Memphis.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The body will be taken to Memphis Funeral Home, on Union Avenue, where friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday. A prayer service will be held at Memphis Funeral Home Monday at 7:30 p.m.
