SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Phillip John Harris, 80, of Scott City died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 6, 1921, at Chaffee, Mo., son of George Louis and Goldie Edna Mundon Harris.
Harris retired as a brakeman with Frisco Railroad Co. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church at Chaffee. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include three sons, John Harris of Dayton, Texas, Michael Harris of Perryville, Mo., Phillip Harris of Scott City; two daughters, Phyllis Farmer of Spring, Texas, Amber Harris of Scott City; a brother, Cecil Harris of Peoria, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
