GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Funeral for Phillip Ray Baker of Grand Chain will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Ill. The Rev. Flo Patrick will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Cypress, Ill.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Baker, 45, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Ill.

He was born Dec. 26, 1954, in Fulton, Ky., son of Leonard and Irma Mitchell Baker.

Baker was a member of Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Metropolis, Ill.

Survivors include his parents of Grand Chain; three sisters, Stella Helm of New Jersey, Kathy Swenney of Metropolis, Debbie Hicks of Mayodan, N.C.; three brothers, Leonard Baker of Metropolis, Tommy Baker of Calvert City, Ky., and Shane Baker of Grand Chain.
