Philip Marcus Ressel, 32, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at his home. He was born June 18, 1986, in Cape Girardeau to Stephen and Sandra Buchheit Ressel. Philip Marcus Ressel, 32, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, at his home.

He was born June 18, 1986, in Cape Girardeau to Stephen and Sandra Buchheit Ressel.

Philip was a 2005 graduate of Jackson High School and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He was Muscular Dystrophy Association ambassador in 1997 and 1998.

Loving survivors include his parents of Jackson; brothers, Benjamin James Ressel of Cape Girardeau, Clint Stephen (Audra) Ressel of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jody Paul (Heather) Ressel of Jackson; niece, Abigail Marie Ressel; and two sets of twins on the way.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Philip and Dorothy (McCormick) Buchheit, and paternal grandparents, Marcus and Georgianna Ressel.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Josh Boley officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
