Philip N. Ventrella, 59, 3913 Carolewood, died Friday, Aug. 28, 1992, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Sept. 22, 1932, in Bari, Italy, son of Ralph and Vincenza Calabrazzi Ventrella. He and Judy Jenkins were married Sept. 17, 1977, in Chicago.
Ventrella had been quality manager at Thorngate Ltd. 15 years. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Elks Lodge, and volunteer at St. Francis Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Anthony Ventrella of Mt. Prospect, Ill.; two daughters, Tina Conner of Gurnee, Ill., Vicki Ventrella of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Dominic Ventrella of Addison, Ill.; three sisters, Maria Ventrella, Angela Dentamaro, and Sarah Ventrella, all of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Don Berkbigler will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
